Trail maintenance

We all love riding perfectly groomed trails and that sublime sound of fresh rubber on perfectly moist soil. Unfortunately nature takes its toll on our trail networks throughout the year and it is our duty to make sure that the trails are well maintained and safe for people of all ages and skill levels to enjoy. Jake's Gravity was originally started as a group of like minded riders who not only wanted to experinece the bliss of descending as fast as possible on our favorite trails, but to be able to do that on a safe and rideable surface free of leaves, sticks and loose rocks that always seem to find their way to the trail surface. We hope that you have the time to be able join us in one of our many maintenece and build days throughout the year.

Trail building

Over the last year we have worked with the National Forest Service, NAMBA and local volunteers to begin the next page in the regions mountain biking selection. Located just across the resivoir from the Jake's Rocks area we have cut in about half of a mile of fresh and technical singletrack which will be known as Sam's Rocks Trail. Unlike most of the previous trails built in the area, this is all hand built by volunteers and has required no local tax dollars for its consturction. We appreciate all who have helped this past season and look forward to what possibilities this opens up for riders in the region.
